Indra was born of a prophetic union between Gaia, the Earth Goddess and Daeyus, chief of the Devas. He found himself growing in an atmosphere of treachery and incumbency. Under the watchful eye of sage Mitra, Indra sets out on a journey to win the hearts of his fellow tribesman, and the kingdoms of the world. With Agni, Vayu, Varuna, Soma Indra, and his brother as his allies he sets on a journey stretching from Asia minor to Harappa encountering enemies, demons and goddesses, and in the process loses the only woman he ever loved.
