The Christmas Catastrophe: Special Edition by Geronimo Stilton is an adventure story for kids. This book is part of the Geronimo Stilton series of books, and the title character of the book is a anthropomorphic mouse, Geronimo Stilton. He lives in New Mouse City, and is the editor of the fictional newspaper, Rodent’s Gazette. Geronimo takes Benjamin, his favourite nephew, to a skiing vacation on Frozen Fur Peak. A disgruntled Geronimo struggles to meet the exorbitant expenses, and things take a further worse turn when Geronimo crashes into a boulder while skiing and lands up in the hospital. The vacation goes for a toss, as Geronimo’s bones are all broken. Once he knows that he’ll have to stay in the hospital for long, Geronimo makes an effort to lift his spirits, and adds some fun to his stay in the hospital.
