A part of the Creepella Von Cacklefur Series, Ghost Pirate Treasure is a story about one man named, Billy Squeakspeare, who finds mysterious holes dug all around his mansion and calls Creepella Von to unravel the mystery. As Creepella and Billy proceed on to find the source of the holes, they discover that the holes around the house have been dug by a legendary and dangerous pirate, Morgan Darkwhisker, who has hidden a lot of his treasure under the grounds around the mansion.

They further deduce that it is the same pirate who has reappeared to claim the hidden treasures under the mansion. The readers course through a journey full of adventure as Creepella and Billy move on to unravel more of the mystery pirate and his treasure, as their worst fears come true. It is now to be seen if Creepella and Billy are able to find the treasures first.

The special feature of the book is that it is full of illustrations and is quite colorful, which makes it an ideal read for children. The Geronimo Stilton books target readers between 6 and 12 years of age. An animated TV series aired in Netherlands and Belgium in 2009.
